If your AC is running but your house still feels warm, low refrigerant is one of the first things we check. And here's the thing - a system that's low on charge doesn't just struggle to cool. It's usually telling you there's a leak somewhere that needs to be found and fixed before you dump more refrigerant into it.

We use a digital manifold gauge set to get accurate pressure readings on the system. This tells us exactly what the refrigerant levels look like and how the system is performing under real conditions. Combined with an electronic leak detector, we can pinpoint where refrigerant is escaping instead of just guessing.

That diagnostic step matters more than most people realize. Recharging a system without finding the leak first is a short-term fix at best. The refrigerant will just keep escaping, your system will keep underperforming, and you'll keep paying for it - in energy bills and in repeated service calls.

Once we know what we're dealing with, we can give you a straight answer on what it takes to get your system running right. Sometimes it's a repair and a recharge. Sometimes the diagnostics point to a bigger issue that makes more sense to address head-on. Either way, you'll know exactly where you stand.

We serve the Ogden and Porter's Neck areas and this is the kind of work we do every day. If your system isn't keeping up with the heat, don't wait until it quits completely - getting ahead of it now is almost always the smarter move.
